From the first meeting to the second.
I joined mediaman in Stuttgart as a project manager in September 2015. I didn’t actually plan to move from one agency to another, but a former colleague had made the jump before me and persuaded me to apply there. At my first telephone interview, it turned out that I already knew the director of the Stuttgart office from a previous job interview with another agency; I really wanted to start working for him then, but it didn’t work out. But you always meet twice, as they say.
From briefing to deployment.
I see project management as the connection between the company and the rest of the world – it starts with the first customer briefing and an offer, then come various customer meetings and workshops; other than that, I support the team in implementing the project from concept design and IT to testing and final deployment. I make sure that deadlines are kept while coordinating the project team and keeping an eye on the figures.
Watching a project develop together with the team and passing the results to a satisfied customer makes me happy every time.
From show dancing to kickboxing.
I began kickboxing after twenty-two years of show dancing – it’s a great way of finding my balance from everyday work.
