Helping to shape the agency
I’d already worked with various agencies and eventually freelanced as a designer and illustrator when I first met the mediaman founders in 1996. Incidentally, my first responsibility was to develop the mediaman brand image logo, the juggler. The internet and websites were still very new to most people at the time, and I was curious as to how far we could go as one of the first digital agencies in Germany – quite a way as it turned out.
We’ve navigated around a few cliffs over the years, and we still see great new teams of customers and colleagues forming to solve increasingly demanding tasks, while consistently keeping to our high quality standards.
Rising to expectations is part of my job as a creative director; I provide artistic and creative advice to customers and mediaman teams, aiming to support and inspire every end-user using our websites, apps, and platforms. I bring my experience to the table in our creative teams towards creating the ideal UX.
Seeking inspiration everywhere
When I’m not at mediaman, I find inspiration in viewing, collecting, and creating art and discovering new landscapes, cultures, and histories while travelling.
"I especially enjoy brainstorming sessions with no holds barred on creativity, our monthly inspirational presentations as they always provide new ideas and motivation, drawing as that’s a personal passion of mine, and typography where the quality is often hidden in the detail."
