An update for Basler’s emergency assist smartphone app
With the SOS emergency button users send an alarm to a chosen contact person. Up to five people receive an automated text message with your current GPS location data. After the latest update the app can do a lot more. It contains a number to report lost or stolen credit cards, instructions for placing poison emergency calls, and a search for the closest emergency pharmacy. Hospitals and police stations are also displayed on a localized map.
More functions, better functionality
The app was modernized to live up to Basler Insurance’s reputation as a modern, service-oriented company. Apart from the new service-functions the update makes usage simpler and clearer with new icons and modern design.
To keep our programmers entertained, Apple released an iOS update as we were building the app.
The app helps users and Basler
The relaunched SOS Emergency Assist App fits Basler. It helps users to remain calm in critical situations. The app is reliable, fast and uncomplicated, just like Basler Insurance. In case of an emergency, it is a helpful point of contact.
Users don’t have to go through search engine results to call a poison information line or find an emergency pharmacy. No matter, what kind of emergency is at hand, the app guides through all the important steps.
