I founded mediaman with two friends twenty years ago. My current main focus at mediaman rests on strategy and UX consultancy, internal and external communications, and new business opportunities.
I read and research a lot, I look at things and ask about them. This all helps me reach what I hope are intelligent conclusions that I can sum up in simple terms – verbally and visually. I also meet and talk to colleagues, customers, and most importantly, potential users.
I especially enjoy copywriting as this is where my professional roots are; I’m glad that a reading culture has developed and survived the flood of images and videos on the Web.
I like to spend a lot of time at my country home on Ireland’s west coast where the wind blows away the cobwebs in your mind and the people still do a lot of things the traditional way. I’ve developed a taste for working at the fireside. Apart from that, you can regularly find me at karate dojo – I can’t imagine a better way of finding a balance from working at the office.
"We set up our first office in an attic. Since 1996, we’ve seen our share of ups and downs towards gaining an established position in the digital economy in Germany and China."
